I’m Nicole Gernon, a broadcast journalist who likes to travel – a lot. I gave up my career as a Trade Mark Attorney to go travelling around the world in 2013 after taking several shorter breaks. The travel bug has bit hard, almost as hard as the mosquitoes and horseflies that plague me everywhere I go! I haven’t let that stop me though, I just make sure to pack plenty of bug spray – even if it’s not going to be warm.

I love adventure travel and adrenaline sports so I always make sure there’s plenty to keep me occupied wherever I go. Just to give you a bit more of an idea about what I’ve done, the sort of travel I’m into and what you can expect to see on the site, here’s a list of the countries I’ve been to.

I’ve also travelled extensively around Ireland. Some of the most beautiful sights are right here and from what I’ve seen around the world, we really don’t boast about it enough.
